Dr. Jeff Myers is president of Summit Ministries. As an educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Myers has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development. Focus on the Family founder , Dr. James Dobson, referred to him as “a very gifted and inspirational leader.” Evangelist Josh McDowell called him “a man who is 100% sold out to preparing the next generation to reflect the character of Christ in the culture.”
Through his speaking engagements and media appearances, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. He is the author of 14 books, including the Understanding the Faith, Understanding the Times, and Understanding the Culture textbooks which are studied by tens of thousands of students. Dr. Myers holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Denver. He continues to engage college students through an exclusive Signature Leadership Course series offered with Unbound, a project-based education company that prepares high school and college students to become leaders for Christ in the real world. Jeff and his wife Stephanie and their family live in Colorado.
Dr. Kathy Koch (pronounced “cook”) is the Founder and President of Celebrate Kids, Inc., based in Fort Worth, TX. She has influenced thousands of parents, teachers, and children in over 25 countries through keynote messages, seminars, chapels, and other events. Dr. Kathy offers practical, relevant, and spiritual-centered insights and strategies for parents and educators, so they increase hope in God, celebrate kids as Jesus did, and guide children to develop biblical character and healthy relationships so they flourish in life. She is proud to be represented by the Premiere Speakers Bureau.
Dr. Kathy speaks in Christian schools, churches, pregnancy resource centers, and for various organizations including Care Net, Summit Ministries, the Colson Center, and Teach Them Diligently. Kirk Cameron chose her as an expert in two recent documentaries and she is also a popular guest on Focus on the Family radio and other radio talk shows and podcasts. She is the author of seven books published by Moody Publishers: 8 Great Smarts, Screens and Teens, Resilient Kids, Start with the Heart, No More Perfect Kids (with Jill Savage), Five to Thrive, and her most recent book, Parent Differently: Raise Kids with Biblical Character that Changes Culture.
Dr. Kathy earned a PhD in reading and educational psychology from Purdue University. She was tenured as an associate professor of education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, served as a teacher of second graders, a middle school coach, and a school board member before founding Celebrate Kids in 1991. She has loved Jesus for years, and her faith and desire to serve and glorify God is the foundation of her ministry.
